He is teaching faculty in the NYU Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis (NYU Postdoc) and at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP). He is a supervisor at NIP and the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research (IPTAR). He also serves on the Executive Board of the Hans W. Loewald Center, a center for psychoanalytic education.
I believe in long-term change and that therapy works best when we can make a commitment to the process. I work with individuals to develop greater capacities to tolerate negative emotions and work through difficult life experiences.
Rather than seeking quick fixes, I work with individuals to understand the underlying dynamics that contribute to repetitive behaviors, disappointments, or ongoing suffering.
I am ready and excited to accompany you through life’s most difficult challenges.
