Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is a depth therapy aimed at helping individuals to uncover inner conflicts, repetitive patterns of behavior, and underlying family dynamics. If you’re looking to gain insight and understanding about the root causes of your issues, this evidence-based treatment may be right for you.

Psychoanalysis

The original “talk therapy,” psychoanalysis helps individuals to unravel entrenched psychic conflicts that contribute to physical and mental distress. Psychoanalysis is unique in that it is one of the most intensive psychotherapeutic approaches. Through your relationship with your analyst, you will begin to explore many areas of your past in here-and-now, moment-to-moment interactions.

Evaluation Services

Dr. Giardino offers many types of evaluation services, including in-depth narrative reports for immigration purposes, testing for disability exemptions, and neuropsychological evaluations for traumatic brain injury (TBI) and dementia. He has served as an expert witness in several court cases.

Play Therapy

Is your child suffering with emotional or behavioral problems? Dr. Giardino offers play therapy to aid children in finding means of symbolizing their inner distress. Through play, children can find ways to express themselves and to develop their own unique language for communicating their difficulties.
